Pada hari itu Yosua merebut Makeda dan mengalahkannya berserta rajanya dengan mata pedang Setiap orang yang ada ditumpasnya Tidak ada seorang pun yang dibiarkannya lolos Ia memperlakukan Raja Makeda seperti ia memperlakukan raja Yerikho
