Ketika Yosua berada di dekat Yerikho ia mengangkat matanya dan melihat tampaklah seorang laki-laki berdiri di depannya dengan pedang terhunus di tangannya Yosua mendekatinya dan bertanya kepadanya Apakah engkau kawan atau lawan
