Yosua anak Nun mengutus dengan diam-diam dua orang pengintai dari Sitim katanya Pergi amatilah daerah itu terutama kota Yerikho Karena itu mereka pergi dan masuk ke rumah seorang pelacur yang bernama Rahab lalu menginap di situ
