Deuteronomy 28:55

Kepada salah seorang dari mereka dia tidak akan memberikan sedikit pun daging anak-anaknya yang sedang dimakannya sebab tidak tersisa apa-apa lagi padanya dalam kesesakan saat musuh menindasmu di seluruh kotamu

Kemudian Saul berkata Mari kita turun mengejar orang Filistin malam ini dan menjarah mereka sampai fajar menyingsing Jangan biarkan seorang pun tersisa dari mereka Mereka menjawab Lakukanlah semua yang kaupandang baik Akan tetapi imam berkata Marilah kita mendekat kepada Allah di sini

Kemudian Samuel bertanya kepada Isai Inikah semua anakmu Jawabnya Masih tersisa yang bungsu kebetulan dia sedang menggembalakan kambing domba Samuel berkata kepada Isai Suruhlah orang memanggil dia sebab kita tidak akan duduk sampai dia datang ke sini

Sebab beginilah firman Tuhan ALLAH Kota yang maju perang dengan seribu orang akan tersisa seratus orang dan yang maju perang dengan seratus orang akan tersisa sepuluh orang dari kaum Israel
