Kemudian Ishak kembali menggali sumur-sumur yang digali pada zaman Abraham ayahnya yang telah ditutup oleh orang Filistin setelah kematian Abraham Dan Ishak memberikan nama yang sama kepada sumur-sumur itu sebagaimana Abraham menamakannya dahulu

Ishak pindah dari sana dan menggali sumur yang lain Di sana tidak ada pertengkaran lagi sehingga Ishak menamakan tempat itu Rehobot Dia berkata Sekarang TUHAN telah memberikan keleluasaan kepada kita sehingga kita dapat beranak cucu di tanah ini
