Deuteronomy 19:6

Maksudnya agar orang yang menuntut balasan darah yang mengejar pembunuh itu dengan hati panas tidak dapat menyusulnya sebab jarak menuju kota itu terlalu jauh supaya dia tidak membunuhnya Sedangkan orang itu tidak patut dihukum mati karena dia tidak membenci kawannya sebelumnya

Jika di tanah yang TUHAN Allahmu berikan kepadamu untuk kamu miliki ditemukan orang yang mati dibunuh dan terkapar di ladang tetapi tidak ada yang tahu siapa yang membunuhnya
