Kamu menduduki tanah mereka bukan karena kamu baik dan hidup benar TUHAN Allahmu mengusir mereka keluar karena cara hidup mereka yang jahat sehingga TUHAN memenuhi janji-Nya kepada nenek moyangmu yaitu Abraham Ishak dan Yakub

Ketika TUHAN Allahmu membinasakan dari hadapanmu bangsa-bangsa yang akan kamu masuki untuk kamu duduki dan apabila kamu sudah mengusir mereka serta tinggal di negeri mereka
