Inilah yang harus kamu lakukan terhadap mereka itu Kamu harus merobohkan mazbah-mazbah dan tugu-tugu peringatan mereka lalu bakarlah patung-patungnya

Deuteronomy 13:16

Kamu harus mengumpulkan semua rampasan ke tengah lapangan dan bakarlah seluruh kota itu bersama yang ada di dalamnya di hadapan TUHAN Allahmu Jadikanlah tumpukan puing-puing untuk selamanya dan tidak akan pernah dibangun lagi
