Deuteronomy 7:4

Sebab mereka akan membuat anak-anakmu menjauh dari-Ku dan menyembah kepada ilah lain sehingga TUHAN akan murka kepadamu dan Dia akan segera membinasakanmu

Deuteronomy 7:16

Kamu harus membinasakan semua orang yang diserahkan oleh TUHAN Allahmu Janganlah mengasihani mereka dan jangan menyembah ilah mereka Sebab hal Itu akan menjadi jerat bagimu

berhati-hatilah agar kamu jangan terjerat dan mengikuti mereka setelah mereka kamu binasakan dan janganlah kamu bertanya-tanya tentang ilah mereka dengan berkata Bagaimana bangsa-bangsa itu menyembah ilah mereka Kami pun akan melakukan yang sama
