Pada waktu itu aku memberikan perintah ini kepadamu kataku TUHAN Allahmu telah memberikan tanah di seberang Sungai Yordan untuk menjadi milikmu Namun seluruh orang gagah perkasa di antaramu yaitu orang-orang yang bersenjata harus ikut menyeberangi Sungai Yordan di depan suku-suku bangsa Israel lainnya

TUHAN Allahmu akan mengusir bangsa-bangsa itu keluar dari hadapanmu Janganlah berkata dalam hatimu TUHAN membawa kami ke sini untuk mendiami tanah ini karena kami orang benar Sebab TUHAN telah mengusir mereka keluar karena mereka jahat
