Kemudian kita meninggalkan Gunung Horeb dan pergi melalui padang belantara yang luas dan mengerikan seperti yang telah kamu lihat ke daerah perbukitan Amori sesuai dengan perintah TUHAN Allah kita Dan kita telah sampai di Kadesh-Barnea

Ezekiel 9:10

Sedangkan Aku mata-Ku takkan menyayangkan ataupun berbelaskasihan tetapi Aku akan mendatangkan perbuatan mereka ke atas kepala mereka

Di bagian luar pintu gerbang bagian dalam ada kamar-kamar untuk para penyanyi di pelataran dalam salah satunya ada di samping pintu gerbang utara dengan bagian depannya menghadap ke selatan dan lainnya pada sisi pintu gerbang selatan yang menghadap ke utara

Dia berkata kepadaku Ini adalah kamar yang menghadap ke selatan yang dimaksudkan untuk imam-imam yang bertanggung jawab atas Bait Suci

dan kamar yang menghadap ke utara adalah untuk imam-imam yang bertanggung jawab atas mazbah Inilah keturunan Zadok dari antara keturunan Lewi yang mendekat kepada TUHAN untuk melayani-Nya
