Lalu terjadilah ketika Musa mendekati perkemahan itu dia melihat anak sapi itu dan tari-tarian kemarahan Musa menyala-nyala dan dia pun membanting loh-loh batu dari tangannya dan memecahkannya di kaki gunung

Dia berada di sana bersama TUHAN selama 40 hari dan 40 malam Dia tidak makan roti atau minum air Dia menulisi loh-loh batu itu dengan kata-kata perjanjian yaitu Sepuluh Perintah
