Raja menjawab dan berkata kepada Daniel Sesungguhnya Allahmu adalah Allah atas semua ilah dan Raja atas segala raja Penyingkap rahasia-rahasia oleh sebab itu engkau sanggup menyingkapkan rahasia itu

Lalu Daniel memohon kepada raja dan dia menunjuk Sadrakh Mesakh dan Abednego untuk memerintah atas wilayah Babel sedangkan Daniel sendiri tinggal di istana raja
