Hanya Musa yang boleh mendekati TUHAN tetapi mereka tidak boleh mendekat dan bangsa itu pun tidak boleh naik bersamanya

Ketika Samuel mempersembahkan kurban bakaran itu orang Filistin maju mendekat untuk menyerang orang Israel Akan tetapi pada hari itu TUHAN bergemuruh dengan guntur yang besar ke atas orang Filistin dan mengacaukan mereka sehingga mereka dikalahkan oleh orang Israel
