Jeremiah 24:1

TUHAN menunjukkan kepadaku dan lihatlah dua keranjang buah ara diletakkan di depan Bait Allah Ini terjadi setelah Nebukadnezar raja Babel membawa Yekhonya anak Yoyakim raja Yehuda sebagai tawanan bersama para pejabat Yehuda para pengrajin dan para tukang besi dari Yerusalem dan membawa mereka ke Babel Lihatlah dua keranjang ara diletakkan di depan bait TUHAN

Akan tetapi jika suatu bangsa atau suatu kerajaan tidak mau melayani Nebukadnezar raja Babel dan tidak meletakkan tengkuknya di bawah kuk Raja Babel Aku akan menghukum bangsa itu dengan pedang dengan kelaparan dan dengan penyakit sampar firman TUHAN sampai Aku menghancurkannya dengan tangannya

Sebab beginilah firman TUHAN semesta alam Allah Israel Aku telah memasang kuk besi ke atas tengkuk semua bangsa ini supaya mereka melayani Nebukadnezar raja Babel dan mereka akan melayani dia Aku juga telah memberikan kepadanya binatang-binatang di padang
