Pada masa pemerintahan Ahas anak Yotam anak Uzia raja Yehuda majulah Rezin raja Aram dan Pekah anak Remalya raja Israel ke Yerusalem untuk berperang melawan kota itu Akan tetapi mereka tidak dapat mengalahkannya
