karena pada hari itu orang-orang Yahudi mendapat keamanan dari musuh-musuhnya dan dalam bulan itu kedukaan mereka berubah menjadi sukacita dan hari perkabungan menjadi hari yang baik Mereka harus merayakan hari-hari itu sebagai hari perjamuan makan dan kegembiraan serta saling mengantar makanan kepada satu sama lain dan memberi hadiah bagi orang-orang miskin
