Pada bulan pertama yaitu bulan Nisan pada tahun kedua belas pemerintahan Raja Ahasyweros orang membuang pur yaitu sebuah undi di hadapan Haman dari hari ke hari dan dari bulan ke bulan sampai bulan kedua belas yaitu bulan Adar
