Pada waktu itu Tatnai gubernur daerah seberang sungai Syetar-Boznai dan rekan-rekannya mendatangi mereka lalu berkata Siapa yang memberimu perintah untuk membangun bait ini dan menyelesaikan tembok ini

Akan tetapi pada tahun pertama pemerintahan Koresh raja Babel Raja Koresh memberi perintah untuk membangun kembali Bait Allah ini

Karena itu jika raja berkenan selidikilah gedung perbendaharaan raja yang ada di Babel apakah Raja Koresh pernah memberi perintah untuk membangun kembali Bait Allah di Yerusalem Kemudian biarlah raja memberikan keputusannya kepada kami mengenai hal ini
