Para imam berdiri di tempat tugas mereka begitu pula orang-orang Lewi dengan alat-alat musik untuk memuliakan TUHAN yang telah dibuat oleh Raja Daud untuk mengucap syukur kepada TUHAN Sesungguhnya untuk selama-lamanya kasih setia-Nya ketika Daud memuji TUHAN dengan bantuan mereka Para imam meniup nafiri di depan mereka sementara semua orang Israel berdiri

Sesuai peraturan Daud ayahnya dia menetapkan kelompok para imam untuk melaksanakan tugas mereka dan orang-orang Lewi untuk bertugas menyanyikan puji-pujian dan menyelenggarakan ibadah di depan para imam sesuai dengan ketetapan setiap hari Dia menetapkan pula kelompok para penjaga pintu gerbang untuk setiap pintu gerbang karena itulah perintah Daud abdi Allah
