Inilah para kepala pahlawan yang Daud miliki Mereka bersama seluruh Israel memberinya dukungan kuat dalam kerajaannya supaya dia menjadi raja sesuai dengan firman TUHAN mengenai Israel

Dialah yang akan membangun bait bagi nama-Ku Dia akan menjadi anak-Ku dan aku akan menjadi Bapanya Aku akan mengukuhkan takhta kerajaannya atas Israel sampai selama-lamanya

Kemudian saat perintah raja yang akan dibuatnya itu diumumkan di seluruh kerajaannya yang besar itu maka setiap istri akan menghormati suami-suaminya baik orang besar atau orang kecil

Biarlah raja menunjuk para pengawas di setiap provinsi kerajaannya supaya mereka mengumpulkan semua anak-anak dara yang cantik rupanya ke kastel Susan ke harem di bawah pengawasan Hegai sida-sida raja yang menjaga para perempuan dan biarlah diberikan perawatan kecantikan kepada mereka

Daniel 1:20

Daniel 11:4

Akan tetapi segera setelah dia muncul kerajaannya akan pecah dan terbagi-bagi menurut keempat mata angin dari langit tetapi tidak kepada keturunannya sendiri dan tanpa kekuasaan seperti yang dimilikinya Sebab kekuasaannya akan tumbang dan diberikan kepada orang lain selain keturunannya
