Tuhan mengazabkan raja sehingga dia sakit kusta sampai hari kematiannya dan tinggal di rumah yang berasingan Maka Yotam anaknya mengetuai istana dan memerintah rakyat negeri itu

Ketika ketua imam Azarya dan semua imam lain memandangnya tampak ada penyakit kusta pada dahinya Mereka cepat-cepat mengusirnya dari sana dan terburu-burulah dia keluar kerana Tuhan telah mengazabkan dia
