Oleh sebab itu Raja Yoas memanggil Imam Yoyada dan para imam lain serta berkata kepada mereka Mengapakah kamu belum juga memperbaik kerosakan Bait itu Sekarang jangan lagi terima wang daripada para dermawan kenalanmu tetapi serahkanlah itu untuk memperbaik kerosakan Bait

Para imam setuju untuk tidak lagi menerima wang daripada rakyat dan mereka pun tidak lagi harus memperbaik kerosakan Bait itu sendiri
