Elia mengambil jubahnya menggulungnya dan memukulkannya ke air sungai itu Maka air itu pun terbelah ke sebelah kiri dan kanan lalu kedua-dua orang itu menyeberang di tengah-tengah iaitu di atas tanah kering

Setelah dia mengambil jubah Elia yang terjatuh itu dipukulkannya jubah itu ke air dan berkata Di manakah Tuhan Allah Elia Apabila air itu dipalu terbelahlah air itu ke sebelah kiri dan kanan lalu Elisa pun menyeberang
