Elia pun segera pergi ke Sarfat Sesampainya dia di pintu gerbang kota itu tampak ada seorang balu yang sedang mengumpulkan kayu api di sana Elia memanggilnya dan berkata Tolong ambilkan bagiku sedikit air di dalam kendi supaya aku dapat minum

Apabila diketahuinya hal itu Elia bergegas pergi menyelamatkan diri Sesampainya di Bersyeba wilayah Yehuda ditinggalkannya pelayannya di sana
