Suatu kali ketika Yerobeam keluar dari Yerusalem nabi Ahia orang Silo itu menemui dia di jalan Ahia mengenakan sehelai pakaian baru dan mereka berdua sahaja di padang

Setiap kali bani Lewi membawa peti itu kepada petugas raja dan ketika mereka melihat bahawa wang di dalamnya sudah banyak maka datanglah jurutulis raja serta petugas daripada ketua imam untuk mengosongkan peti itu Selanjutnya mereka membawa peti itu kembali ke tempatnya Demikianlah dilakukan mereka setiap hari dan banyaklah wang yang terkumpul
