Hal ini terjadi kerana dia telah meninggalkan Aku dan sujud menyembah Asytoret dewi orang Sidon dan Kamos tuhan orang Moab serta Milkom tuhan bani Amon Dia tidak hidup menurut jalan-Ku dengan melakukan apa yang benar di mata-Ku dan berpegang teguh pada segala ketetapan-Ku serta peraturan-Ku seperti Daud ayahnya
