1 Kings 2:3

Peganglah kewajipanmu terhadap Tuhan Allahmu dengan hidup menurut jalan-Nya dan dengan berpegang teguh pada segala ketetapan-Nya perintah-Nya peraturan-Nya serta peringatan-Nya seperti yang tertulis dalam Kitab Taurat Musa Dengan demikian engkau akan berhasil dalam segala tindakanmu dan dalam segala tujuanmu

Kemudian raja berdiri dekat tiang Diikatnya perjanjian di hadapan Tuhan untuk hidup mengikuti Tuhan dan berpegang teguh pada segala perintah-Nya peraturan-Nya serta ketetapan-Nya dengan segenap hati dan jiwa juga untuk melaksanakan kata-kata perjanjian yang tertulis dalam kitab itu Seluruh rakyat pun turut serta dalam perjanjian itu

Psalms 18:22

Segala hukum-Nya ada di hadapanku sebagai panduan dan aku tidak mengetepikan ketetapan-Nya
