2 Samuel 24:16

Tetapi ketika malaikat menghulurkan tangannya atas Yerusalem untuk memusnahkannya Tuhan berbelas kasihan atas sebab malapetaka itu Firman-Nya kepada malaikat yang memusnahkan umat Cukup Sekarang turunkanlah tanganmu Pada waktu itu malaikat Tuhan berada berdekatan dengan tempat pembantingan bijirin Arauna orang Yebus

AV: And when the angel <04397> stretched out <07971> (8799) his hand <03027> upon Jerusalem <03389> to destroy <07843> (8763) it, the LORD <03068> repented <05162> (8735) him of the evil <07451>, and said <0559> (8799) to the angel <04397> that destroyed <07843> (8688) the people <05971>, It is enough <07227>: stay <07503> (8685) now thine hand <03027>. 2 Samuel 24:18

Pada hari itu Gad datang lagi menghadap Daud dan berkata kepadanya Pergilah dirikanlah sebuah mazbah bagi Tuhan di tempat pembantingan bijirin Arauna orang Yebus itu

2 Samuel 24:20

Ketika Arauna menengok dan melihat raja bersama-sama para pegawainya berjalan ke arahnya keluarlah dia lalu sujud dan memberi hormat kepadanya

Arauna bertanya Mengapakah Tuanku Raja datang kepada hambanya ini Jawab Daud Aku hendak membeli tempat pembantingan bijirin ini daripada kamu Di tempat ini akan kudirikan sebuah mazbah bagi Tuhan supaya wabak sampar ini berhenti menimpa umat

AV: And Araunah <0728> said <0559> (8799), Wherefore is my lord <0113> the king <04428> come <0935> (8804) to his servant <05650>? And David <01732> said <0559> (8799), To buy <07069> (8800) the threshingfloor <01637> of thee, to build <01129> (8800) an altar <04196> unto the LORD <03068>, that the plague <04046> may be stayed <06113> (8735) from the people <05971>.

2 Samuel 24:22

Kata Arauna kepada Daud Ambillah sahaja Tuanku Raja dan persembahkanlah apa yang dipandang baik Lihat di sini ada lembu untuk korban bakaran sedangkan segala tukul pengirik serta perkakas lembu itu dapat menjadi kayu bakarnya

AV: And Araunah <0728> said <0559> (8799) unto David <01732>, Let my lord <0113> the king <04428> take <03947> (8799) and offer up <05927> (8686) what [seemeth] good <02896> unto him <05869>: behold <07200> (8798), [here be] oxen <01241> for burnt sacrifice <05930>, and threshing instruments <04173> and [other] instruments <03627> of the oxen <01241> for wood <06086>.

Semua ini ya Raja Arauna persembahkan kepada Raja Kata Arauna pula kepada raja Semoga Tuhan Allah tuanku berkenan kepada tuanku

AV: All these [things] did Araunah <0728>, [as] a king <04428>, give <05414> (8804) unto the king <04428>. And Araunah <0728> said <0559> (8799) unto the king <04428>, The LORD <03068> thy God <0430> accept <07521> (8799) thee.

2 Samuel 24:23

Semua ini ya Raja Arauna persembahkan kepada Raja Kata Arauna pula kepada raja Semoga Tuhan Allah tuanku berkenan kepada tuanku

2 Samuel 24:24

Akan tetapi raja berkata kepada Arauna Jangan begitu kerana aku mahu membelinya daripada kamu dengan harga yang layak Aku tidak mahu mempersembahkan korban bakaran kepada Tuhan Allahku secara percuma Maka Daud membeli tempat pembantingan bijirin itu dengan lembu-lembunya pada harga lima puluh syikal perak

AV: And the king <04428> said <0559> (8799) unto Araunah <0728>, Nay; but I will surely <07069> (8800) buy <07069> (8799) [it] of thee at a price <04242>: neither will I offer <05927> (8686) burnt offerings <05930> unto the LORD <03068> my God <0430> of that which doth cost me nothing <02600>. So David <01732> bought <07069> (8799) the threshingfloor <01637> and the oxen <01241> for fifty <02572> shekels <08255> of silver <03701>.
