2 Samuel 20:1

Kebetulan di sana ada seorang yang rendah akhlak bernama Seba anak Bikri seorang Benyamin Dia meniup sangkakala dan berkata Kita tidak mendapat bahagian daripada Daud kita tidak mendapat harta pusaka daripada anak Isai itu Pulanglah ke khemah masing-masing wahai orang Israel

2 Samuel 20:2

Maka semua orang Israel berhenti mengikuti Daud lalu mereka mengikuti Seba anak Bikri Akan tetapi orang Yehuda tetap setia mengikuti raja mereka dari Sungai Yordan ke Yerusalem

2 Samuel 20:6

Lalu kata Daud kepada Abisai Sekarang Seba anak Bikri akan mencederakan kita lebih daripada Absalom Jadi bawalah hamba-hamba tuanmu dan kejarlah dia supaya jangan dia merebut kota-kota yang berkubu dan terselamat daripada kita

Lalu keluarlah orang Yoab orang Kreti orang Pleti dan semua kesateria untuk mengikutinya Mereka keluar dari Yerusalem untuk mengejar Seba anak Bikri

2 Samuel 20:10

Tetapi Amasa tidak memperhatikan pedang yang ada di tangan kiri Yoab Lalu Yoab menikamkan pedang itu ke perutnya sehingga isi perutnya terburai ke tanah Yoab tidak perlu menikam Amasa lagi kerana dia sudah mati Setelah itu Yoab dan Abisai adiknya mengejar Seba anak Bikri

2 Samuel 20:13

Setelah jenazah itu dipindahkan dari jalan raya barulah seluruh rakyat berjalan mengikuti Yoab untuk mengejar Seba anak Bikri

2 Samuel 20:21

Bukan begitu maksudku Akan tetapi seorang daripada pergunungan Efraim namanya Seba anak Bikri telah berniat menghancurkan Raja Daud Serahkan sahaja dia maka aku akan meninggalkan kota ini Kata perempuan itu kepada Yoab Baik kepalanya akan dilemparkan kepada tuan dari tembok ini

Kemudian pergilah perempuan itu mendapatkan seluruh rakyat secara bijak Lalu mereka memenggal kepala Seba anak Bikri dan melemparkannya kepada Yoab Maka Yoab meniup sangkakala lalu bubarlah mereka dari kota itu dan masing-masing ke khemahnya Setelah itu kembalilah Yoab ke Yerusalem menghadap raja

And he blew <08628> (8799) a trumpet <07782>, and they retired <06327> (8799) from the city <05892>, every man <0376> to his tent <0168>. And Joab <03097> returned <07725> (8804) to Jerusalem <03389> unto the king <04428>. {retired: Heb. were scattered}
