Genesis 4:4

Habel pun mempersembahkan beberapa ekor anak sulung daripada haiwan ternakannya malah memilih antara yang paling mondok daripadanya Tuhan berkenan kepada Habel dan persembahannya

Leviticus 5:15

Jika seseorang melakukan kemungkaran dan tanpa sengaja berbuat dosa dalam hal-hal berkaitan dengan perkara-perkara suci milik Tuhan maka sebagai tebusan kesalahannya hendaklah dia mempersembahkan kepada Tuhan seekor domba jantan yang tidak bercacat cela daripada kawanan domba yang sudah dinilai menurut syikal perak iaitu syikal rasmi Khemah Suci sebagai korban penebus kesalahan
