Dia juga mengangkut rakyat kota itu dan menempatkan mereka untuk bekerja dengan gergaji penggerek besi dan kapak besi Selain itu mereka pun dipaksa bekerja di tempat pembuatan batu bata Demikianlah yang dilakukannya terhadap semua kota bani Amon Kemudian kembalilah Daud dan seluruh pasukannya ke Yerusalem
