Kemudian bangkitlah Daud dari lantai lalu mandi Dia memakai wangi-wangian dan menukar pakaiannya Kemudian dia masuk ke dalam Bait Tuhan dan menyembah-Nya lalu pergi ke istananya Atas permintaannya roti dihidangkan untuknya lalu dia bersantap

Maka berkatalah para pegawainya kepadanya Apakah maksud perbuatan tuanku ini Ketika anak itu masih hidup tuanku berpuasa serta menangis tetapi sesudah anak itu meninggal tuanku bangun dan bersantap
