Ketika orang Filistin mendengar bahawa Daud telah dilantik menjadi raja atas Israel maka pergilah semua orang Filistin untuk mencari Daud Akan tetapi Daud mendapat tahu tentang hal itu lalu dia pergi ke kubu pertahanan
