Genesis 3:24

Lalu Dia mengenyahkan manusia itu keluar dan di sebelah timur Taman Eden ditempatkan-Nya dua malaikat kerubin serta sebilah pedang yang bernyala-nyala dan berputar ke segala arah untuk mengawal jalan menuju kepada pokok hayat itu

Kata Daud kepada Abner Engkau lelaki bukan Siapakah yang seperti engkau antara orang Israel Mengapakah engkau tidak mengawal baik-baik raja iaitu tuanmu Ada seorang daripada kalangan rakyat yang masuk untuk membinasakan tuanmu raja itu

Perbuatanmu itu tidak baik Demi Tuhan yang hidup kamu patut mati kerana kamu tidak mengawal tuanmu orang yang dilantik Tuhan itu Sekarang lihatlah di manakah tombak raja dan buyung air yang ada berdekatan dengan kepalanya
