1 Samuel 26:7

Sesampainya Daud dan Abisai di tempat pasukan itu pada malam hari tampaklah Saul berbaring tidur di tengah-tengah perkhemahan Tombaknya tertancap ke tanah berdekatan dengan kepalanya sementara Abner dan seluruh pasukan berbaring di sekelilingnya

Tuhan melarang aku membinasakan orang yang dilantik Tuhan Sekarang kita akan mengambil sahaja tombak yang ada berdekatan dengan kepalanya serta buyung air itu Lalu kita pergi

Perbuatanmu itu tidak baik Demi Tuhan yang hidup kamu patut mati kerana kamu tidak mengawal tuanmu orang yang dilantik Tuhan itu Sekarang lihatlah di manakah tombak raja dan buyung air yang ada berdekatan dengan kepalanya
