Maka pergilah Daud dengan pasukannya ke Kehila memerangi orang Filistin itu dan merampas ternakan mereka serta menewaskan mereka secara besar-besaran Demikianlah Daud menyelamatkan penduduk Kehila

Maka Saul mengerahkan seluruh rakyat pergi berperang di Kehila untuk mengepung Daud serta pasukannya

Saul berjalan di sisi gunung sebelah sini manakala Daud dan pasukannya di sisi gunung sebelah sana Daud cepat-cepat menjauhkan diri daripada Saul Ketika Saul dan orangnya hampir mengepung Daud berserta pasukannya untuk menangkap mereka
