Setelah Daud selesai berbicara dengan Saul berpadulah jiwa Yonatan dengan jiwa Daud dan Yonatan mengasihi Daud seperti mengasihi dirinya sendiri

Yonatan membuat perjanjian dengan Daud kerana dia mengasihi Daud seperti dirinya sendiri
