Kata para tua-tua Yabesh kepadanya Berikanlah kelonggaran kepada kami selama tujuh hari untuk kami mengirim utusan ke seluruh daerah Israel Sekiranya tiada seorang pun yang menyelamatkan kami maka kami akan keluar menyerahkan diri kepada tuan
