Setelah orang Asdod menyedari apa yang terjadi berkatalah mereka Tabut Allah Israel ini tidak boleh tinggal bersama-sama kita kerana tangan-Nya menimpa kita dan juga Dagon tuhan kita dengan berat

Tabut Tuhan itu dibawa masuk lalu diletakkan di tempatnya di dalam khemah yang dibentangkan Daud untuk itu kemudian Daud mempersembahkan korban bakaran dan korban kedamaian di hadapan Tuhan

Jawab Uria kepada Daud Tabut Allah orang Israel dan orang Yehuda tinggal di pondok-pondok Juga tuanku Yoab dan para pegawai tuanku berkhemah di padang terbuka Bolehkah hamba balik sahaja ke rumah hamba untuk makan minum dan tidur dengan isteri hamba Demi hidup tuanku dan demi nyawa tuanku hamba tidak akan melakukan hal itu
