Ketika tibanya di Silo Eli yang sedang menunggu-nunggu itu duduk di sebuah kerusi di tepi jalan Hatinya gementar kerana tabut Allah itu Orang itu masuk ke dalam kota dan menyampaikan berita tentang apa yang terjadi Maka berteriaklah seluruh penduduk kota

Ezra 9:4

Maka semua orang yang gementar akan firman Allah Israel itu pun berkumpul di sekelilingku kerana kemungkaran orang buangan itu Aku sendiri duduk tertegun sampai waktu persembahan petang

Ezra 10:3

Oleh sebab itu biarlah kami mengikat perjanjian dengan Allah kita bahawa kami akan mengusir semua isteri kami berserta anak-anak yang dilahirkan mereka selaras dengan nasihat tuan dan orang yang gementar akan perintah Allah kita Biarlah hal itu dilaksanakan menurut hukum Taurat
