Genesis 3:17

Firman-Nya kepada Adam Kerana engkau menurut kata isterimu lalu memakan buah daripada pokok yang telah Kuperintahkan kepadamu Jangan engkau makan buahnya maka terkutuklah tanah kerana kau Engkau akan bersusah payah mengerjakan tanah dan memakan hasilnya seumur hidupmu

Genesis 4:25

Adam meniduri isterinya lagi lalu perempuan itu melahirkan seorang anak lelaki dan menamainya Set kerana katanya Allah telah mengurniaiku keturunan yang lain untuk menggantikan Habel kerana Kain telah membunuhnya

Inilah daftar salasilah keluarga Adam Pada waktu penciptaan makhluk manusia Allah menjadikannya menurut rupa Allah

Setelah Adam hidup 130 tahun lahirlah baginya seorang anak lelaki menurut rupa dan gambarannya Dia menamai anak itu Set

Selepas kelahiran Set Adam hidup 800 tahun lagi dan dia masih dikurniai anak-anak lelaki serta perempuan yang lain

Setelah mencapai usia 930 tahun Adam pun meninggal
