Ruth 1:2

Nama lelaki itu Elimelekh dan isterinya Naomi dan nama dua orang anak lelakinya Mahlon dan Kilyon Mereka itu warga Efrata dari Betlehem di Yehuda Setelah tiba di bumi Moab mereka pun mendiami tempat itu

Ruth 1:3

Kemudian Elimelekh suami Naomi mati dan Naomi ditinggalkan dengan dua orang anaknya

Ruth 2:1

Di sebelah suaminya Elimelekh Naomi mempunyai seorang kaum kerabat bernama Boas yang kaya raya

Ruth 2:3

Berangkatlah dia ke ladang lalu mengutip barli di belakang para penuai dan kebetulan pula Rut sampai di tempat ladang milik Boas yang berasal daripada kaum Elimelekh

Ruth 4:3

Lalu berkatalah dia kepada kerabat terdekat Naomi itu Naomi yang pulang dari bumi Moab perlu menjual tanah yang menjadi milik saudara kita Elimelekh

Ruth 4:9

Kepada para tua-tua serta semua orang yang ada di situ Boas berkata Pada hari ini kamulah saksi bahawa aku telah membeli daripada tangan Naomi segala milik Elimelekh dan segala milik Kilyon dan Mahlon
