Tetapi tentera orang Israel saling memberikan perangsang dan mengumpulkan segenap kekuatan mereka lalu menyusun semula barisan perang di tempat mereka menyusun barisan pada mulanya

Maka majulah bani Benyamin menyerbu tentera itu dan mereka dipancing keluar dari kota Seperti yang pernah dilakukan dahulu mereka mulai menyerang dan membunuh pasukan askar Israel di padang dan juga di jalan raya iaitu satu yang menuju ke Betel dan satu lagi ke Gibea Kira-kira tiga puluh orang Israel terbunuh
