Ketika para lelaki di tempat itu bertanya tentang isterinya Ishak menjawab Dia saudaraku kerana dia takut mengatakan Dia isteriku Fikirnya Jangan-jangan aku dibunuh oleh para lelaki di tempat ini kerana Ribka yang amat cantik parasnya

Maka Abimelekh memanggil Ishak dan berkata Ternyata dia isterimu Bagaimana boleh kaukatakan Dia saudaraku Jawab Ishak kepadanya Kerana fikirku Jangan-jangan aku mati kerana dia
