Firman-Nya kepada Adam Kerana engkau menurut kata isterimu lalu memakan buah daripada pokok yang telah Kuperintahkan kepadamu Jangan engkau makan buahnya maka terkutuklah tanah kerana kau Engkau akan bersusah payah mengerjakan tanah dan memakan hasilnya seumur hidupmu

Kalau kurang lima sahaja daripada lima puluh orang benar itu akankah Engkau tetap musnahkan seluruh kota itu hanya kerana lima orang itu Firman-Nya Jika Kudapati di sana empat puluh lima orang Aku tidak akan memusnahkannya

Abraham berkata lagi kepada-Nya Kalau didapati empat puluh orang di sana Firman-Nya Kerana empat puluh orang itu Aku tidak akan melakukannya

Kata Abraham Janganlah kiranya Tuhan murka jika aku berbicara lagi Kalau didapati di sana tiga puluh orang Firman-Nya Jika Kudapati di sana tiga puluh orang Aku tidak akan melakukan hal itu

Firman-Nya lagi Kamu tidak dapat memandang wajah-Ku kerana tiada manusia yang dapat memandang Aku dan terus hidup
