Genesis 24:21

Sambil memperhatikan gadis itu orang itu berdiam diri untuk mengetahui sama ada Tuhan membuat perjalanannya berhasil atau tidak

Esther 4:14

Jika pada saat ini engkau berdiam diri sahaja maka kelegaan dan pembebasan bagi orang Yahudi akan datang daripada pihak lain tetapi engkau dan kaum keluargamu akan binasa Siapa tahu mungkin untuk saat seperti inilah engkau telah mencapai kedudukan diraja dalam kerajaan itu
