Lalu ketika para pengusung tabut sampai di Sungai Yordan dan kaki para imam pengusung tabut itu tercelup di pinggir air itu sememangnya Sungai Yordan meluap keseluruhan tebingnya selama musim menuai

Merekalah yang menyeberangi Sungai Yordan pada bulan pertama ketika sungai itu meluap sepanjang tepiannya dan merekalah yang menghalau seluruh penduduk lembah itu ke sebelah timur dan ke sebelah barat
