Genesis 23:11

Tidak tuanku dengarlah aku Ladang itu kuberikan kepada tuan Gua yang ada di dalamnya pun kuberikan kepada tuan Di hadapan mata orang yang sebangsa denganku aku memberikannya kepada tuan Makamkanlah isteri tuan di sana

Leviticus 20:17

Jika seorang lelaki memperisteri saudara perempuannya sama ada anak ayahnya atau anak ibunya maka dia seterusnya melihat aurat perempuan itu dan perempuan itu melihat auratnya maka perkara itu sesuatu yang memalukan Hendaklah mereka disingkirkan daripada depan mata umat sebangsa mereka Atas sebab lelaki itu telah meniduri saudara perempuannya maka hendaklah dia menanggung kesalahannya

Engkau wahai anak manusia katakanlah kepada orang sebangsa denganmu Orang benar tidak akan diselamatkan oleh perbenarannya ketika dia melakukan pelanggaran dan orang fasiq tidak akan dijatuhkan oleh kefasiqannya pada waktu dia bertaubat daripada kefasiqannya Orang benar tidak akan dapat hidup kerana perbenarannya pada waktu dia berbuat dosa

Akan tetapi orang sebangsa denganmu berkata Jalan Tuhan tidak adil Padahal jalan merekalah yang tidak adil
