Deuteronomy 31:14

Berfirmanlah Tuhan kepada Musa Ketahuilah ajalmu hampir tiba Panggillah Yosua dan hadirkanlah diri bersama-sama di Khemah Pertemuan Aku akan mentauliahkan dia Maka pergilah Musa dan Yosua lalu hadir di Khemah Pertemuan

Deuteronomy 31:23

Kemudian Tuhan mentauliahkan Yosua anak Nun Kuatkanlah dan mantapkanlah hatimu kerana kamu akan membawa orang Israel ke negeri yang telah Kusumpah untuk memberikan kepada mereka Aku akan menyertai kamu
